The Peoria Housing Authority (PHA) and Bear Development (Bear) are re-developing the former 226-unit “Taft Homes” site in Peoria, IL into 142 new units of affordable housing known as Providence Pointe.
A New Beginning
A new, 142-unit housing development, along with community facilities, will be constructed to provide quality, safe and affordable housing to the Peoria community. All residents in good standing at the development will have the right to return to a newly constructed home and will continue to pay 30% of their adjusted gross income towards rent.
More Information
Providence Pointe will feature one to five bedroom home layouts with private entries, full kitchen appliance packages, in-unit laundry and more! There will be 10% accessible units for those with mobility impairments, 2% accessible units for those with sensory impairments, and 20% overall accessible/adaptable units.
